Superintendent

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field or the equivalent experience in heavy civil construction required.

At least 5 years of heavy civil or foundation construction experience is required.

Exposure to complex bridge structures or other infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

Experience managing heavy civil construction projects, preferably structure related, with multiple trades and numerous craft persons is required.

Experience with federal/state/DOT contracts, specifications, reports and records is required.

Experience with trade supervision including performance evaluations.

Experience with hiring, supervising, and assisting in training of non-union trades.

OSHA 30-hour certification is required to be obtained.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects, and in a heavy manufacturing facility with carious safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, around high voltage, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a federal contractor.
