Summer 2027 - Embedded Firmware Engineering Intern - Boston, MA

Lutron is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineering Intern to join our collaborative team and contribute to high-impact projects.

In this role, you will help design and deliver firmware-driven solutions that power smart lighting and shading systems.

Your internship at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on:

• Writing firmware for our microprocessor-based products
• Code reviews and technical discussions
• Firmware debugging, testing and tracing
• Driving active projects in partnership with cross ‑ functional teams
• Learning and a pplying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability

Our baseline requirements are simple:

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Y our cumulative GPA is at least 3.20
• You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the internship
• Y ou have broad interests in engineering, design and development
• Y ou are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position
• Willing and available to work on-site 5 days per week
