Substance Use Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address their unique needs and treatment goals
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, to ensure client success
• Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting a healthy and informed recovery process
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to client care and coordination of services
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, continuing education, and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Counseling, Psychology, Social Work)
• Current licensure as a Licensed Therapist in the state of West Virginia preferred, not required.
• Proven experience in providing evidence-based therapies and treatment planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
