About the Role
AVENTA seeks a Subsea Technical Manager for a major shallow-water FEED competition project in Abu Dhabi. The role leads multidisciplinary coordination of subsea engineering disciplines and acts as technical authority.

Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary technical coordination across all subsea disciplines: flow assurance, geotechnical, pipelines, cables, umbilicals, materials and corrosion
- Drive the subsea engineering scope throughout the FEED competition, ensuring consistency and alignment across disciplines
- Interface with project management, engineering leads and client teams on all technical subsea matters
- Review and validate engineering deliverables across disciplines to ensure technical quality and compliance
- Support bid strategy and technical proposal development
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Subsea Technical Manager or Lead Subsea Engineer on FEED and/or EPCI projects
- Strong multidisciplinary background across flow assurance, geotechnical, pipelines, cables, umbilicals, materials and corrosion
- Experience working on shallow water subsea development with fixed platforms, greenfield and brownfield
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced FEED competition environment with multiple simultaneous internal/external interfaces
- Professional English, written and spoken

Context
- Join the subsea engineering team of a major international EPCI contractor in Abu Dhabi as a Subsea Technical Manager for a major shallow water FEED competition project.
- You will lead the multidisciplinary coordination of subsea engineering disciplines across a complex offshore development scope, acting as the technical authority on all subsea matters throughout the FEED engineering phase.
What you will do
- Lead multidisciplinary technical coordination across all subsea disciplines: flow assurance, geotechnical, pipelines, cables, umbilicals, materials and corrosion.
- Drive the subsea engineering scope throughout the FEED competition, ensuring consistency and alignment across disciplines.
- Interface with project management, engineering leads and client teams on all technical subsea matters.
