Subsea Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of subsea systems, ensuring optimal performance and cost effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of subsea equipment, coordinating with contractors and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Conduct detailed assessments of subsea infrastructure, identifying potential risks and recommending proactive maintenance strategies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical support during offshore operations, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, and other engineers, to achieve project goals.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and technologies, integrating innovative solutions to improve subsea operations.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional development and promoting knowledge sharing.
• Participate in HAZID and HAZOP studies, contributing to the identification and mitigation of potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs, focusing on structural integrity and hydrodynamic performance.
• Evaluate and select subsea equipment and materials, considering factors such as reliability, durability, and compatibility with the operating environment.
