The Department of Writing is looking for interested students to work in the Writing Center.
NOTE: If hired, you will be REQUIRED to take WRTG 21800: Writing Center Pedagogy for 1-credit in the Fall 2025 semester, Pass/Fail.
The course meets during Block I.
That means the course ends in October and if successfully completed, you will begin tutoring in the Writing Center.
You can still register for the course if you aren't hired.
Then if you try again next year and get hired, you can begin tutoring immediately in Fall 2025.
PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR APPLICATION IF YOU CANNOT REGISTER FOR WRTG 218, FALL 2025, FOR ANY REASON.
Reasons may include but are not limited to conflicts with other classes, overload credits that are not permitted, or work conflicts.
Please consult with your advisor to ensure you can take the course.
It is recommended that you register for WRTG 218 even if you haven't completed the interview process; the course can be dropped later if desired.
Pay Rate: $16.30/hr
