Student Worker, Computer Lab

Support daily operations of the computer labs.

Education: Must be enrolled as a full-time Hill College student

Must maintain above a 2.0 GPA

Experience: Customer service and basic computer skills

Core Duties and

Required Knowledge: Provides exceptional customer service. Performs computer lab service desk functions such as answering patron questions – phone, email, and in-person – managing borrowed materials and collecting lab usage statistics. Assists computer lab users with basic Microsoft Office application questions and general technology troubleshooting.

Program Development: Assist with the implementation of lab initiatives, provide input on student needs, and help promote programs and services to their peers.

Collaboration: Work closely with Learning Innovation staff and lab visitors to ensure effective operations and a positive patron experience.

Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and safe environment that provides a sense of belonging for all.

Demonstrated Attributes: Dependability, reliability, strong communication and mentoring skills. Ability to work evenings as required. Enthusiasm for customer service and technology.
