About the Department
The Student Services Intern position is responsible for providing assistance to various Student Services projects. Position will ensure that the department’s goals and objectives are met. The intern will provide support services and assistance to department director and staff. Position will also assist events and assignments, as needed. Internship length is variable depending on student availability. This opportunity is only available for students enrolled at Lake Land College. Accepting applications for Summer and Fall 2025.
Position Duties
- Assist with Student Services projects, events, and initiatives as assigned by supervisor. Provide assistance with Student Services program information, student information, and data entry, often on tight deadlines. Communicate information and/or requirements with students. Assist staff, faculty, students and others if needed as it pertains to Student Services related information. Schedule meetings and events using Microsoft Outlook and telephone; revise departmental forms as needed. Maintain student/program confidentiality. Update and maintain Web site content. Work closely with other interns and employees. Other duties as assigned.
