Career objectives :
Providing the services that students need during their university journey, preparing the necessary means and capabilities to practice various social and voluntary activities, enabling students to contribute to public work, preparing them for active participation in student councils, and promoting the concept of belonging and loyalty through participation in the activities of the Institute and the Arab Center.
Main Responsibilities
Providing high-quality student services in an efficient and transparent manner, while ensuring compliance with the institute's policies and regulations.
These services include:
Coordination for bringing in international students
Coordination to obtain residency documents for students in the State of Qatar
Working to disburse students' financial entitlements
Coordination for issuing health insurance documents and tracking student health benefits
Other services as per the student handbook and student services register
Assisting students in following approved procedures and forms
Responding to student inquiries either by email or face-to-face
Communicating with other departments regarding student affairs
Contributing to updating the procedures and forms used and simplifying matters as much as possible
Contributing to the organization of orientation events for new students
Contributing to the organization of lectures, seminars, and recreational trips for the benefit of students.
Contributing to the organization of graduation events
Contributing to the daily and administrative services of the department or the deanship if required.
This role sometimes requires working outside of official working hours.
Performing any other tasks assigned by management within the scope of the main duties.
Qualifications, experience and skills :
Educational qualification:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experiences
At least one year in student affairs or a similar field.
Skills
Written and oral communication skills
The ability to deal productively with others
work pressure
Adherence to deadlines
Completing tasks with minimal supervision and guidance
Taking responsibility
The ability to respond effectively and quickly in the event of a crisis.
