About your role:

Are you looking to complete student placement in the booming disability sector?

Gain valuable real life experience and skills to kick-start a career in the fast-growing and highly rewarding sector.

As a student, you will be buddied up with a disability support worker based in our Maryborough Hub and Community Access program.

This exciting learning experience will provide the opportunity to work alongside our disability support workers, supporting a diverse range of customers in a variety of social experiences such as baking, bushwalking, fishing and community scavenger hunts.

The day service offers an inclusive environment that provides our customers the opportunity for learning, friendship, growth and fun!

About you

• Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support
• Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team
• Social, friendly and easy going - great people skills is a must
• Compassionate nature

• Plenty of supervision and mentoring
• Unpaid student placement (Thurs and Fri, 8am - 4pm)
• Join a supportive and fun team
• Free on-site parking

You will have the following to qualify for this role

• Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children)
• A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
• Aged 18 years and over
• Australian open driver’s licence (green P’s or current international driver's licence)
• Ongoing working rights
