Student - Orientation Leader

Must be a current UVU student Minimum 2.5 GPA Complete Orientation Leadership course in Fall 2026/Spring 2027.

Must be available to attend all required spring dates, including Orientation Leader trainings and the Orientation Leader retreat Must be available to work Jumpstart Orientation events and Freshman Convocation in Summer 2027.

Ability to learn and accurately share information about campus resources, services, and programs with new students and families.

Desire to learn how to facilitate small group discussions for new students.

Ability to function as an effective team member and work well with others.

Must exhibit dependability, responsibility, punctuality, and energy in a professional work environment.

Be friendly and possess good communication skills.

Ability to proactively engage new students and family members in conversation.

Prior campus involvement in clubs, organizations, or other campus roles is preferred, but not required.
