Student, Junior Security Data Analyst

This role requires Reliability Status Clearance.

In addition to a law enforcement inquiry and a credit check, as part of your application, the Government of Canada will ask if you lived or travelled outside of Canada for 6-consecutive months during the last 5 years, and you must account for all activities during this time.

Junior Security Data Analyst role is responsible for supporting Security analytics team with data processing, analysis and visualization.

The role focuses on learning and supporting AWS infrastructure while implementing data governance and data quality standards across pipelines to identify anomalies and detect malicious activities.

Preferred skills:

• Programming with SQL and/or Python. Any knowledge of AWS technologies such as Glue, RedShift, Lambda, EC2 etc is a BIG Plus

• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills for data manipulation, charts and presentations.

• Knowledge in database technologies and programming languages

• A demonstrated interest in cyber security.

• Confidence of positioning thoughts with seasoned data engineers and data scientists
