The Facilities Landscape Operations Department of Wheaton College is looking for students to shovel snow or spread salt in icy conditions.
Pay is hourly, but you will be paid for anytime under 2 1/2 hours as if you have worked for that time.
You are placed on a team and assigned to a specific area around campus buildings to clear stairs and areas directly around the building.
We try to honor preferences of working with friends, so this is a good job for friends and roommates.
You are usually called out before 6:00am on an overnight snow or late afternoon, depending on the weather.
You must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to bend, stoop, kneel, walk and stand for hours at a time.
