Set up and break down tables, chairs, staging, furniture, and other equipment for campus events.
Complete evening event teardowns and room resets.
Prepare spaces for events scheduled for the following morning or day.
Assist with deliveries and movement of furniture, equipment, and event resources.
Support athletic events, special programs, weekend activities, and major campus events.
Assist with trash pickup and outdoor waste management.
Perform general groundskeeping and outdoor work as needed.
Assist with seasonal grounds projects and campus cleanup.
Move furniture and equipment for special projects.
Support the full-time Second Shift Lead with other Facilities needs that arise during evening operations.
Typical work hours are 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 or 9:00 p.m.
A minimum commitment of 8 hours per week is required.
Scheduling is flexible around classes, homework, extracurricular activities, and other academic commitments .
Students may work shorter shifts within the normal second-shift hours based on their class schedules and availability.
Evening and weekend opportunities may be available depending on the campus event schedule.
Additional hours may be available for students who want to work more.
Current Wheaton College student.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Able to consistently work a minimum of 8 hours per week .
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team under the direction of the full-time Second Shift Lead.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work involving bending, kneeling, walking, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
