- Experience handling payments through cash, credit card, POS, bank transfers, and cheques preferred

Job Overview
- Canadian University Dubai is seeking a detail oriented and service focused Student Accounts Officer to join the Students Account Department.
- The successful candidate will support the daily collection of student related and general income payments, provide accurate financial information to students and stakeholders, and ensure that all financial transactions are processed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
- The successful candidate should demonstrate strong numerical accuracy, sound bookkeeping knowledge, and the ability to review student ledgers, calculate applicable fees, and apply approved discounts and scholarships in accordance with university policies.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel is required. Experience working in a university environment is considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of one year of practical experience in cashiering, teller services, student accounts, accounts receivable, or a related financial services role.
- Experience handling payments through cash, credit card, point of sale systems, bank transfers, and cheques is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have experience providing high quality customer service in a busy, student facing environment.
Key Areas of Work
- Student and general payment collections, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Student ledger review, fee calculation, and application of eligible discounts, scholarships, and other approved financial adjustments.
- Customer service and stakeholder support, providing clear, accurate, and timely information to students, parents, guardians, staff, and relevant departments.
- Payment follow up and recovery support, including assisting the Accounts Receivable department with student follow ups on outstanding payments when required.
- Billing, quotations, tax invoices, refunds, and clearance support for student withdrawals and graduations.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide feedback and insights to management regarding student account matters, service issues, and process improvements.
