Position Overview
Oversee structural works, building inspections, quality control, and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural inspections and monitor construction quality.
- Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Identify structural defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare inspection reports, defect lists, and technical documentation.
- Monitor rectification works and support project handover.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience as a Structural Lead, Structural Engineer, Building Inspector, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, building construction, inspections, and quality control.
- Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as PE, CEng, RPE, RICS, SISV, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Fluent English is required.
