Structural Lead/Building Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Structural Lead / Building Inspector to oversee structural design, inspections, construction quality, and building condition assessments.

• Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Conduct structural inspections and monitor construction quality and workmanship.
• Ensure structural works comply with approved designs, codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Identify structural defects, risks, and non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Review materials, construction methods, and structural testing results.
• Assess existing building conditions and structural performance where required.
• Prepare inspection reports, technical assessments, and recommendations.
• Support testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and project handover.

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in structural engineering, building inspection, or construction quality.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, construction methods, and relevant codes and standards.
• Experience in structural inspections, defect assessment, and technical reporting.
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional engineering or inspection qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in construction, consultancy, property development, or large-scale projects preferred.
