Responsibilities

• Conduct structural inspections of buildings and construction sites for integrity and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Supervise site activities and monitor construction progress against structural specifications and design requirements.
• Document findings, defects, and non-conformities using detailed reports and photographic evidence.
• Analyze structural components and materials for quality, safety, and compliance with UAE standards and international best practices.
• Recommend corrective actions, coordinate remediation with project stakeholders, and maintain inspection records and databases.
• Perform site measurements with specialized equipment and communicate inspection results and recommendations clearly.
• Stay current with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to structural inspection.

Qualifications

• At least six years of experience in structural inspection, site supervision, or construction quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, structural engineering principles, and safety regulations.
• Ability to analyze structural defects, identify non-conformities, and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Physical capability to conduct site inspections and navigate construction environments.
• Experience on large-scale Middle East construction projects is preferred.

Workplace and Onboarding

• The position is a site supervision role in Abu Dhabi and requires physical access to construction environments.
• Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
