Role Overview

Bridge Inspections

• Inspect bored piles, barrettes, pile caps, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works for bridge substructures and foundations.
• Witness pile integrity testing and static or dynamic load tests.
• Inspect precast segmental box girders, I-girders, and U-girders during fabrication, transportation, and erection.
• Witness post-tensioning activities, including duct installation, strand threading, stressing, elongation checks, grouting, and anchor protection.
• Verify bearing installation, alignment, levels, and pre-setting according to design requirements.
• Inspect deck slabs, stitch pours, parapets, crash barriers, deck waterproofing, asphalt overlays, expansion joints, drainage scuppers, and deck furniture.

Tunnel Inspections

• Inspect excavation works for cut-and-cover tunnels, diaphragm walls, secant pile walls, and underpinning systems.
• Monitor TBM operations, segment delivery checks, ring-build geometry, and annular grouting where applicable.
• Inspect shotcrete and other tunnel structural works described in the source posting.

Standards and Compliance

• Apply contract documents, approved drawings, project specifications, RTA/Dubai Municipality standards, and applicable international codes.
• Use relevant ACI, AASHTO LRFD, BS, Eurocodes, and ITA guidelines when assessing structural works.
