Job Details
An architectural engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced and driven Structural Engineer.
The role includes site visits, site meetings, and inspections.
A minimum of five years of UAE experience is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering.
- Membership in the Society of Engineers.
- DM-approved license.
- Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Tekla, and AutoCAD.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DM, DDA, and Trakhees standards and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and calculate concrete and steel structures.
- Create CAD drawings incorporating measurements, calculations, building codes, and construction details.
- Prepare drawings, charts, and records using CAD and conventional drafting techniques.
- Develop detailed drawings and coordinate designs with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Issue reports, schedules, technical query responses, and RFIs.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
- Visit construction sites for measurements and dimensional calculations.
- Collaborate with architects and construction engineers on specifications and regulations.
