Our dynamic and successful Structures Group is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer / Design Lead.

This position would be based in our Minneapolis, MN, Fargo, ND, or Madison, WI office.

As a Structural Engineer / Design Lead, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of structural engineering and design for public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of structural designs and engineering analyses for projects of varying size and complexity, utilizing advanced engineering principles, analysis software, and industry-standard methodologies.
Provide technical leadership in the preparation and review of construction plans, specifications, and design documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and client requirements.

Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school with and emphasis in structural engineering. Master’s degree is a plus.
Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
6 or more years of Structural Engineering experience in bridge design preferred.
Experience on a variety of state and local engineering projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and produce construction plans and documents using AutoDesk or Bentley design software.
Enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
