Structural Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise structural works for hill road projects.
• Handle bridges, culverts, drains, retaining walls, breast walls, parapets, crash barriers, foundations, and RCC works.
• Read and check structural drawings, reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules, and construction details.
• Coordinate with highway, survey, QA/QC, mechanical, project, consultant, and client teams.
• Check shuttering, reinforcement, levels, alignment, formwork, concreting, curing, and finishing quality.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, design requirements, and safety standards.
• Review site conditions including slope stability, water flow, foundation strata, drainage paths, and space constraints.
• Check quantities, reinforcement requirements, concrete requirements, and material indents.
• Monitor subcontractors, manpower, machinery, material usage, and daily progress.
• Maintain inspection, testing, and progress records and report corrective requirements.

Required Qualification and Experience

• Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
