Structural EIT

We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural EIT to join our Integrated Design team.

The successful candidate will have opportunities to work on a variety of projects within the Energy and Resource sector ranging from studies to detail engineering projects in North America and across the world.

This role will provide an opportunity to be a part of a diverse team while focusing on technical growth in the Energy and Resources industry.

Work performed will be under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.

• You are expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Stantec Safety Culture and in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Stantec and its clients.
• Perform structural design and analyses to applicable codes. Typical structures include heavy industrial and mining infrastructure, and industrial buildings.
• Work with Professional Engineers and Designers on fit-for-purpose designs that meet the client’s needs and requests.
• Interface with other disciplines and project management to execute projects per the project plan.
• Travel to project sites to complete site inspections, working closely with a Sr Structural Engineer.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to advance your technical skills and career growth.
