- Assist the Senior Structural Design Engineer in the planning, coordination, and execution of structural design projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare structural analysis, design calculations, reports, and drawings for various building and infrastructure projects.
- Assist in developing safe, economical, and practical structural solutions that comply with project specifications and applicable design codes.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure proper coordination.
- Review structural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs) for compliance with the approved design.
- Provide technical support and engineering clarifications to site teams during construction.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, when required, to verify that structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist in evaluating site conditions and preparing design revisions or value engineering proposals when necessary.
- Prepare structural design reports, calculations, and supporting documentation for project submissions and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, municipality requirements, applicable design codes, company standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and relevant authorities regarding design submissions and technical clarifications.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure timely completion of assigned design deliverables.
Requirements
- Practice Engineer certificate is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant structural design and construction experience, preferably within the UAE
- Experience supporting building and infrastructure projects from design through construction
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design
- Familiarity with UAE construction practices, municipality procedures, and applicable authority requirements is preferred
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and coordination skills
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory
- UAE driving license is preferred

Job Summary
- The Structural Design Engineer will assist the Senior Structural Design Engineer in developing safe, efficient, and cost effective structural designs for building and infrastructure projects.
- The role is responsible for preparing structural analysis, design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation while supporting construction activities and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- The engineer will also coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure the proper implementation of approved structural designs.
