Responsibilities
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data such as maps, reports, tests, and drawings
- Prepare technical and feasibility studies and design blueprints that meet engineering specifications
- Provide expertise in structural and civil engineering, construction, and maintenance while consulting with stakeholders
- Perform evaluations and applied research to ensure safe and efficient operation of structures, ensuring compliance with codes
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations to address and solve project challenges
- Recommend alternative solutions to engineering problems and oversee implementation
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections to gather necessary project data
- Plan, prepare, and implement project schedules while overseeing execution
- Research and prepare cost estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy and feasibility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient operations
- Write, review, and approve technical reports, specifications, and project presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering consultancy offices
- Proven expertise in structural design, analysis, and supervision of projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
- Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, and structural analysis programs
- Professional Engineering License from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
- Excellent project management skills with ability to supervise and lead teams
- Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environments, managing multiple tasks effectively
- Critical thinking skills with high accuracy in structural calculations and design
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
