Job Description
The role is a Structural Design Engineer position focused on structural steel, cold-formed steel, and other building structures.
The role includes design, analysis, documentation, coordination, checking, client communication, and quality control.
Experience and Education
- BE Civil, ME Civil, or ME in Structures is required.
- Two to seven years of experience in the same profile is required.
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, structural steel design, and cold-formed steel structures is specified.
- Knowledge of steel and cold-formed steel structures is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant structural codes, section details, and components of residential and commercial structures is desired.
- Proficiency with computer software and accuracy in following processes are required.
- Experience interacting with international clients is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
- Design and analyze structures according to US and Indian codes.
- Conceptualize, design, and document engineering designs.
- Solve medium-complexity problems and provide solutions for complex drawings.
- Coordinate with drafters, detail structures, and guide trainee engineers.
