Responsibilities
- Plan layouts, optimize designs, and standardize and codify parts.
- Perform rolled and structural steel calculations using IS and international codes.
- Assign draftsmen and junior engineers to prepare production drawings and bills of materials.
- Prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
- Monitor work for compliance with codes and accepted engineering practices.
- Design, check, and release drawings to production and installation teams.
- Prepare and approve bills of materials.
- Support new product development and resolve client technical queries.
- Direct and supervise designers and drafters.
