Job description
The employer is seeking a Structural Design & Drafting Engineer to join its engineering team.
The role covers structural analysis, design calculations, structural drawings, and coordination for commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and bar bending schedules.
- Develop RCC and steel structure drawings based on engineer inputs.
- Prepare structural designs and calculations for RCC and steel structures.
- Develop general arrangement, reinforcement, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, consultants, and project execution teams.
- Update drawings based on project requirements and site changes.
- Maintain drawing records and accurate technical documentation.
- Review drawings for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Assist with quantity estimation.
- Provide design clarifications and drafting support to project and site teams.
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural design and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software.
