Role Overview
Support the full strategic sourcing lifecycle from category and market analysis through supplier selection, contract implementation, and performance management.
The role covers sourcing strategy, supplier development, cost optimization, risk management, and procurement optimization.
Core Responsibilities
- Support strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, category requirements, cost targets, quality standards, and supply-chain priorities.
- Research supplier markets, identify sourcing opportunities, and monitor trends, cost drivers, emerging suppliers, and supply risks.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and service providers.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, tenders, competitive bidding events, and sourcing comparison models.
- Support negotiations involving pricing, payment terms, quantities, lead times, rebates, warranties, service levels, and volume commitments.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Inventory, Engineering, Quality, and Project Management stakeholders.
- Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, qualification, compliance checks, risk mitigation, and supply continuity planning.
