Seeking an analytical, commercially driven Strategic Sourcing Assistant or Specialist.

Location and Employment

Strategic Sourcing Support
- Support sourcing plans, project pipelines, initiative tracking, savings opportunities, bidding, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract awards.
- Analyze spend, identify sourcing opportunities, research supplier markets, and develop supplier strategies.
- Manage or support RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes and prepare commercial evaluation models and sourcing recommendations.
- Support total-cost analysis, negotiations, supplier due diligence, onboarding, contracting, and performance management.
- Track savings, supplier competitiveness, contract coverage, risk reduction, delivery, quality, and process metrics.
Sourcing Scope and Tools
- Scope includes spend analysis, supplier mapping, category strategy, supplier segmentation, bid analysis, total cost of ownership, benchmarking, and risk management.
- The role may cover local, global, UAE/GCC, retail, private-label, new-product, promotional, and seasonal sourcing.
- Tools and capabilities include ERP or procurement systems, Excel analytics, Power BI, stakeholder management, process improvement, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant procurement, sourcing, supply chain, business, economics, finance, operations, or engineering field is required.
- 2–6+ years of relevant sourcing, procurement, purchasing, category, supplier-management, or commercial-analysis experience is required.
- Strong analytical, commercial, Excel, supplier-evaluation, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
- Experience with RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects are required.
- Good negotiation capability is required at Specialist level.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE/GCC sourcing experience is highly desirable.
- A bachelor's or master's degree, CIPS or equivalent qualification, and other sourcing or supply-chain certifications are preferred.
- Spend analysis, cost modelling, contract management, supplier risk, procurement-system, Power BI, SQL, international sourcing, and global supplier-management experience are preferred.
- Industry experience in areas such as retail, FMCG, consumer goods, healthcare, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing, or professional services is advantageous.
