This role will lead initiatives supporting SMS Common Inventory Program and Chemical Management Program. • Ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and timely.
• Execute RFx processes in alignment with strategic sourcing guidelines.
• Identify and deliver savings opportunities, process improvements, and enhanced business terms.
• Negotiate prices for materials and delivery from suppliers.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain savings tracking methods and processes.
• Identify procurement compliance requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships within the department, Strategic Business Units, and broader company.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain solution.
• Monitoring performance of suppliers and their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
• Issue resolution, defects, incorrect shipments, or invoice errors.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
