About the Role

At phs Group, we're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Strategic Key Account Manager to join our growing team, focused on the Facility Management (FM) sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop a portfolio of strategic national accounts, helping our customers achieve their objectives through innovative hygiene and facility management solutions. As a trusted partner to your clients, you'll identify opportunities for growth, build long-term relationships, and deliver exceptional service while supporting phs Group's commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.

Strategic Account Management

Manage, develop and grow a portfolio of strategic key accounts within the FM sector.

Develop an in-depth understanding of customer objectives, challenges and opportunities.

Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Business Planning & Growth

Create and deliver bespoke account plans aligned with both customer and business objectives.

Identify opportunities for service expansion and revenue growth.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative customer solutions.

Sales Forecasting & Performance Management

Conduct accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.

Analyse account performance, trends and market opportunities.

Use data and insights to support strategic decision-making and target achievement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams including Tenders, Marketing, Commercial, Customer Service and Executive Support teams.

Ensure a cohesive and customer-focused approach across all areas of the business.

Support successful tender opportunities and contract renewals.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Act as a strategic advisor to customers by providing tailored facility management and hygiene solutions.

Deliver exceptional customer experiences and ongoing value.

Reporting & Analysis

Produce and analyse account and sector performance reports.

Identify opportunities, risks and emerging market trends.

Provide regular business updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with excellent relationship-building and commercial skills.

You'll Bring

Proven experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.

Experience managing large, strategic or national customer accounts.

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Strong planning, forecasting and organisational skills.

A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Confidence working independently in a remote environment.

Strong IT skills with experience using CRM systems.

Desirable

Experience working within the Facility Management sector.

Knowledge of hygiene, workplace services or related industries.

Salesforce CRM experience.
