The Strategic Communications Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely development and delivery of approved bank communications across all channels. This position plays a critical role in advancing the TowneBank focus on serving others and enriching lives to grow meaningful member relationships.
The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
Assists in the writing and review of materials that integrate operational, marketing, advertising, and compliance functions, with a focus on internal and member communications.
Assists in the development and coordination of press releases, particularly related to career announcements.
Assists with the organization of key communications such as TowneToday, Chairman’s Report, and board materials.
Drafts communications related to corrective actions, in-house ads, sales collateral, and other requests for written materials.
Coordinates messaging for On Hold phone system updates and after-hours system updates.
Serves as liaison to media outlets for closures and delays.
Provides support to the community and media relations areas by maintaining a calendar of sponsorships and volunteer activities as potential content for social and earned media.
Supports community relations efforts by coordinating sponsorship details, employee participation at corporate events, and logistics for volunteer activities.
