Role Overview
Work with the Risk Management team to produce analytics and recommendations for strategy, operational controls, and performance monitoring.
Support understanding of emerging trends, account quality, acquisition performance, and profitability drivers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain periodic analytics on emerging trends and account quality.
- Analyze performance metrics and profitability drivers across the account lifecycle.
- Understand manual underwriting, portfolio management, and collections processes.
- Conduct ad hoc analytics and support Risk Management projects.
- Deliver recommendations to management.
Required Qualifications
- An MS degree and 3 years of Risk Management or quantitative experience is preferred.
- Alternatively, a BS degree and at least 5 years of Risk Management or quantitative experience is required.
- Background in statistics, econometrics, or another quantitative field is required.
- Advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software.
- Ability to query large amounts of data and create actionable management information.
- Familiarity with risk analytic techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.

Risk Management provides independent oversight, helps anticipate and manage risk, and maintains an effective control environment.
