Role Overview
The Strategic Account Manager will develop healthcare business with key accounts in the Central and Northern regions and will be based in Riyadh.

The position orchestrates relationships with assigned Health Systems accounts and provides tailored value propositions based on customer needs.
Your Role
- Develop productive long-term customer relationships and maximize short- and long-term account business value.
- Coordinate a unified Philips approach with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain teams.
- Develop account strategies and drive customer sales plans to achieve growth.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean.
- Maintain and grow sales, market share, and share of wallet.
- Manage order intake, account strategy, and sales funnel performance.
Job Overview
- Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with key accounts, end users, and advisers.
- Initiate and coordinate Philips efforts for assigned accounts to maximize sales output.
- Translate sales business plans into strategic two- to three-year plans with targets, strategies, and actions.
- Create and implement action programs with key accounts to improve Philips performance.
- Lead account or project teams to align product packages, market approaches, and company profiles.
- Analyze sales results, expectations, markets, competition, and trends for planning and portfolio decisions.
- Create activity budgets and define projects for national accounts.
- Define sales and distribution strategies for the market segment, including tailored value propositions.
- Negotiate tailored actions and conditions within defined account budgets.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major with 7–10 years of related B2B or B2C healthcare sales experience.
- Ability to lead local account teams, organize actions, and ensure required results are delivered on time.
- Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and understand local needs and production plans.
- Ability to negotiate independently with customers within defined guidelines and sales plans.
- Complete knowledge of company products and services.
- Experience with relevant marketing and sales techniques and knowledge of business issues.
- Ability to analyze market and distribution possibilities to define sales strategy.
- Experience building and executing account strategies.
- Fluent English and the relevant native language, verbally and in writing.
Workplace Policy
- For office-based teams, Philips states that employees work in person at least three days per week.
- Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities, while field roles are generally performed at customer or supplier locations.
