Position Details

Storekeeper position at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar.

Job category: Procurement, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance.

Full-time, non-management position.

The role is not remote and involves work at the hotel facility.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize, label, store, and distribute merchandise to the appropriate hotel departments.
  • Stack goods on pallets or carts and complete inventory and supply request forms.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, and rotate inventory.
  • Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, condition, compliance, and quality, rejecting damaged or incorrect items.
  • Follow food-safety and handling procedures and clean and disinfect food storage areas, equipment, floors, and drains.
  • Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste and place them in designated storage areas.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and obtain required safety certifications.
  • Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company property, communicate professionally, and support team goals.
  • Perform physical movements including lifting or carrying loads up to 23 kilograms and standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • A secondary-school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
  • No related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required, although safety training and certifications may be obtained as part of the role.
  • The role requires the ability to handle physical movements and loads up to 23 kilograms.
