Position Summary

Storekeeping Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark it for placement, and deliver it to the appropriate department.
• Stack merchandise on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Notify the manager or supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
• Inspect deliveries and dates for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
• Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in proper storage areas.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work for extended periods while standing, sitting, or walking and move through uneven or confined areas.

Safety and Conduct

• Follow food safety and handling policies across food-related areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally with guests and coworkers and support team goals.
