The Store Keeper is responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and documentation of all materials and inventory within the warehouse.
This includes receiving deliveries, issuing materials, barcoding, updating records in the ERP system, and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe store environment.
The Store Keeper ensures full compliance with the company’s inventory control procedures and supports production and site teams with timely material availability.
Key Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to, the following;
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery notes and purchase orders.
· Label and barcode all materials upon receipt and during material movement through production stages.
· Safely store materials in designated areas following proper stacking and storage practices.
· Accurately issue materials to production or site teams based on approved material request forms.
· Record all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers) promptly in the ERP system (Odoo).
· Assist in preparing packing lists and organising materials for dispatch.
· Conduct daily and weekly stock counts and report any discrepancies to the Store Supervisor.
· Maintain clean and orderly store areas, ensuring compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
· Ensure proper segregation and disposal of damaged or scrap materials following DM-approved waste protocols.
· Support warehouse loading/unloading activities as needed, ensuring safe and careful handling.
· Monitor stock levels and notify the Store Supervisor of low or fast-moving items.
· Handle tools and consumables storage, ensuring timely issuance and return records.
· Comply with quality standards, including tagging and traceability requirements under the production ITP.
Qualification and Experience:
· High School Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Warehousing, or related field.
· Minimum 2+ years of experience in a store or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.
· Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo experience is an advantage).
· Familiarity with material handling equipment and safety procedures.
Key Skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and stock handling.
· Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.
· Physically fit and capable of performing manual warehouse duties.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Basic computer literacy and familiarity with stock recording tools.
