Storekeeper

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess items
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconciliations

2. Receiving & Inspection

• Receive deliveries and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues
• Ensure proper documentation of all received items

3. Storage & Organization

• Store materials systematically for easy access and identification
• Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and safe storage practices
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the store/warehouse

4. Issuing Materials

• Issue materials as per approved requests
• Keep records of stock issued and update inventory systems
• Ensure proper authorization before releasing goods

5. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory systems
• Prepare reports on stock movement, usage, and balances
• File and organize purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices

6. Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety procedures for handling and storing goods
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions

7. Coordination

• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other departments
• Assist in ordering stock when levels are low

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous hotel experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software)
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
