Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries of coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, food items, packaging materials, and other operational supplies
- Verify all deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Store products according to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring proper temperature and storage conditions
- Practice FIFO and FEFO to minimize waste and ensure product freshness
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Procurement Department for timely replenishment
- Issue inventory and supplies to the coffee shop team based on operational requirements
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and prepare inventory reports
- Monitor expiry dates and immediately report damaged, expired, or slow moving items
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or spreadsheets
- Ensure the storeroom is clean, organized, secure, and compliant with food safety regulations
- Coordinate with Branch Manager, Operations, and Finance teams regarding inventory discrepancies
- Assist during stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, and HACCP principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar
