Position Summary

Inventory and Receiving

• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Notify a manager or supervisor promptly when stock levels are low.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, quality, and correct dating.
• Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect deliveries.

Storage and Sanitation

• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts.
• Follow food safety and handling policies across all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in proper storage areas.

Workplace and Conduct

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
• Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and across uneven or slippery surfaces.
