Position Summary

Storekeeper supporting hotel inventory, purchasing, food storage, and departmental distribution in West Bay, Doha, Qatar.

The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.

Receiving and Inventory

  • Receive, stage, mark, stack, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate hotel departments.
  • Complete inventory and supply requisition forms and notify management of low stock levels.
  • Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, rotate stock, and reject damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

Inspection and Food Safety

  • Inspect deliveries and date times for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots.
  • Follow food safety and handling policies across all food-related areas.
  • Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
  • Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in proper storage areas.

Safety and Work Standards

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect company assets, and meet quality assurance standards.
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required or expected.
  • No license or certification is specified as a prerequisite.

Physical and Work Requirements

  • Read and visually verify information in different formats, including small print.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Work in narrow, confined, elevated, sloping, uneven, or slippery spaces and use stairs or service ramps.
