Storekeeper

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of raw materials, finished goods, spare parts, and consumables used in plastic manufacturing operations.

The role ensures proper inventory control, material availability, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

• Receive and inspect raw materials (resins, masterbatch, additives), packaging materials, spare parts, and consumables.
• Verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Properly store materials according to material type, safety standards, and FIFO/LIFO practices.
• Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments as per approved requests.
• Maintain accurate stock records in ODOO stock management systems and manual logs if required.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and assist in annual inventory.
• Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory to management.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality departments regarding material availability and discrepancies.
• Ensure cleanliness, proper labeling, and safe storage of materials and finished goods.
• Handle returned, rejected, and scrap materials as per company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and UAE labor and industrial standards.
• Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Logistics or Store Management is an advantage).
• 2–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a plastic manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of plastic products (such as PET jars & bottles, HDPE caps & closures.), packaging materials.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Understanding of FIFO/ LIFO inventory methods.
• Good organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Willingness to work in warehouse and factory environments.

SALARY: AED 2,500 – AED 3,000 per month
