Storekeeper

• Receive daily incoming deliveries of MEP materials (cables, pipes, fittings, valves, ductwork, switchgear, tools, etc.) from suppliers.
• Inspect materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Supplier Delivery Advice (DA), and approved material submittals for correct specifications, quantities, and physical damage.
• Generate Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and coordinate with QC Engineers for formal site material inspections.

• Organize and maintain efficient binning, labeling, and shelf allocation for electrical, mechanical, and HVAC supplies.
• Issue materials to site technicians and foremen only against approved Material Requisition Forms (MRF) or site requests.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts (cycle counts) and maintain updated computer records in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or Excel).
• Monitor stock levels to establish reorder points and avoid project downtime caused by material shortages.

• Track the issuance and return of power tools, testing equipment, and safety gear to site workers using a logbook or barcode system.
• Schedule periodic calibration, maintenance, and inspection of specialized MEP machinery and equipment.

• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations within the store/warehouse area (proper stacking, clear aisles, chemical segregation, MSDS display).
• Ensure proper hazardous material handling (e.g., refrigerants, adhesives, lubricants) according to UAE civil defense and municipal guidelines.
• Implement inventory protection measures against heat, dust, humidity, and theft.

• File and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), Material Issue Vouchers (MIV), Return to Vendor (RTV) notes, and Delivery Advice documents.
• Prepare periodic inventory summary reports for the Project Manager and Procurement Department.

• Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or technical discipline.
• Experience: 2–5 years of storekeeping experience in the UAE / GCC, specifically within MEP, Electromechanical, or Construction sectors.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with MEP materials (copper tubes, GI conduits, DB boxes, pumps, HVAC fittings, cables).
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar inventory systems).
• Languages: Strong command of written and spoken English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an added advantage).
• Certifications: Valid UAE driving license or Forklift Operator license is a bonus.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
