Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and record all stock movements.
- Organize and store materials safely and efficiently.
- Apply FIFO and FEFO principles, particularly for food products and materials with expiry dates.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, damaged items, and discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue materials to the production department according to approved requests.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor expiry dates, product condition, and storage requirements.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve stock discrepancies, receiving issues, and storage problems.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of FIFO and FEFO.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple SKUs.
- At least two years of experience as a Storekeeper in FMCG is required.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,600 to AED 1,800 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
