Position Information

The position is a full-time, non-management Storekeeper role at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar.

The role is not remote and supports procurement, purchasing, and quality assurance operations.

Position Summary

  • Receive, stage, mark, stack, and distribute merchandise and supplies to the appropriate departments.
  • Complete inventory requisitions and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, rotate stock, and inspect deliveries for freshness and quality.
  • Reject damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items and follow food safety and handling policies.
  • Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
  • Remove pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in designated storage areas.

Safety and Workplace Duties

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager and complete required safety training.
  • Follow company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Communicate professionally with guests and coworkers, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats and work safely in narrow, uneven, slippery, or elevated areas.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.
