Job Description
Lead FMCG retail store operations and achieve sales, cost, inventory, shrinkage, and availability targets.
The role may involve relocation to another outlet or department based on business requirements.
Key Dimensions and Related Job Results
- Implement business strategies to achieve retail sales and cost KPIs.
- Maintain inventory and Days of Stock at target levels while controlling shrinkage.
- Manage daily store operations in compliance with SOPs, including expiry management, price updates, and backend documentation.
- Ensure availability of store range and promotional stock through replenishment processes.
- Deploy and manage staff through delegation, supervision, training, roster management, and leave planning.
- Maintain store ambiance, cleanliness, merchandise displays, and planograms.
- Analyze reports and implement corrective actions for sales, cost reduction, shrinkage, inventory, and availability.
- Develop processes for efficient store operations aligned with departmental priorities.
Operating Environment
- The work environment may require long working hours, holiday work, and physical agility.
- The role may involve pressure from customer requirements, operational needs, employee relations, process compliance, government regulations, and external relations.
Skills Description
- Graduate in any discipline with at least 4 years of supervisory experience in a retail company, or HSC with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in retail.
- Postgraduate degree in management or a business-related course is highly preferred.
- Middle Eastern work experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Knowledge of Retail ERP such as SAP is an advantage.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
