Store Maintenance Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manages assigned facilities in a defined area using the company's cloud based maintenance management system and phone app.
• Responsible for issuing and responding to work orders from the system.
• Required to be the project manager on all Work Orders.
• Supervision of the work of contract labor.
• Ensures policy and procedures are carried out by 3rd party vendors.
• Keeps management informed of possible budget issues at their assigned locations.
• Keeps records and prepares required reports.
• Determines need and contributes information in purchase of replacement equipment.
• Inspects the work of outside contractors for adherence to plans and specifications.
• Consults with vendors and agencies regarding the facility maintenance and environmental issues.

Required Skills

• Thorough knowledge of acceptable maintenance and repair in all areas of building maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in maintenance of HVAC
• Knowledge of issues and topical repairs for Roofs.
• Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Skill in analyzing a problem and arriving at a reasonable and economical solution.

Minimum Years of Experience

Desired Skills

• Construction project management or facilities project management or related field.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software, like Service Channel or Corrigo.
