Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials. Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems. Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Storage & Organization Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials, supplies, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store/warehouse area. Prevent damages, losses, and expiry through proper stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
- Issuing & Distribution Issue supplies and equipment to departments as per requisitions. Ensure accurate documentation for all materials issued and returned. Monitor minimum stock levels and alert procurement for replenishment.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain records of receipts, issues, and stock balances. Prepare inventory reports for management review. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Safety & Compliance Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures in storage and handling. Ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
