Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of stock and inventory levels for MEP materials, tools, and equipment
- Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile with records
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement team
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials for quality and quantity
- Safely store materials according to specifications and ensure proper labeling
- Issue materials and tools as per project requirements and maintain usage logs
- Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers for timely delivery of materials
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for returns, replacements, and pending deliveries
- Maintain detailed records of purchases, transfers, and material usage
- Prepare reports on stock levels, usage trends, and discrepancies
- Ensure the store is compliant with safety, security, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in working condition; arrange for repairs and calibration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management or as a storekeeper, preferably in the MEP or construction sector
- Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory management tools
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
